MY THOUGHTS; My daughter was super excited to see this book Every Day with God: 365 Daily Devos for Girls. This is a devotional featuring VeggieTales characters. She is nine years old and I know it’s for a bit younger kids than her. However she still loves God and wanted to read it with her younger sibling. I thought it would be perfect for them to spend time together and learn from the book together each day. It’s a paperback book with a pink cover. I do personally wish this would have come in a hard cover especially for smaller kids. The first page in the book has a “To”, “From”, and “Date” section. This is a great if your giving the book as a gift to someone. I know it’s on my holiday list for a couple of children. I can’t wait to give it as the gift. This book is really like you would generally expect, there are a total of 365 devotionals. I really liked the idea that the days aren’t labeled like most books it’s rather Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and so on. This means you can give this book any day of the year and start on Day 1 until you reach day 365. When you start to read you will notice each day, there is a Bible verse, a Thought of the Day, challenge, summary of what the Bible verse means, and a short prayer to repeat. Then as you read each day it shows the different VeggieTales characters. My girls enjoy reading it together. We also sometimes read it as a family. It’s up to you how you want to read the book as it’s a great book that encourages. This book really has helped my girls get realize God’s unconditional love for them and brought them closer to him.

I highly recommend this book if your looking for a great gift idea. This comes in boy and girl version. You really can’t go wrong with a gift like this. It’s a gift that keeps giving each day. My kids read it each day and talk about it. Share the book with someone you know.
