About the book:
The Blessings of Unity offers insight and ideas for creating godly unity in our marriages centered around two key concepts:
1) Abiding in the Vine and walking in the Spirit, and
2) Learning and applying the concept of unity.
Unity is achieved when a man and woman strive for agreement with God by processing His Will on every decision and in every issue. Through Biblically-centered discussions of discord, division, unity, discipleship, and prayer, and through exploring Biblical examples of unity, Richard Case offers husbands and wives practical and spiritual advice for working together in unity in the Spirit so that they can more perfectly present themselves to God for his divine approval.

The Blessings of Unity by Richard T. Case is a short read, but a really good one. I had a friend of mine who is married also read it. The reason behind that is Im not married. I love reading though and although it was a quick read for me and gave interesting advise. The best advice that came out of the book for me was “God’s best for our marriages.” We have to keep him in everything we do. Once I let my friend read it she agreed with me. It’s a book that would make a nice gift to any new couple. It’s one of those books you could also give for Christmas. It’s a quiz you can take with your significant other (husband) and my friend highly recommends doing this. No matter where you are in your marriage you can always build on it and make it better. You take vows and over time some people seem to forget them. You can’t do that. You have to keep the marriage going and long as you keep your faith in God in the marriage that helps a lot.
My friend Hailey said that most people may not connect with the book because it is more of a lecture type of book. It’s very well written and if you give it a chance you may can get some really nice advice. She isn’t having problems in her marriage but said the book will remind her what is most important.
I received this book as a sample from FLY BY and wanted my readers to hear about it.
